I graduated from the UNLV Hotel School in 1973 and have been in the hotel/resort marketing side of the business ever since. I have served Hilton, Westin, Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt among others. I have lived in LA (twice), Honolulu, Washington DC (twice), Chicago and Vancouver BC Canada.
In 2015 I completed a hotel consulting assignments in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a resort in Florida and at a hotel in Delaware. I accepted a college teaching position this fall closer to home.
I have always been a car buff and currently have an Acura NSX, a Triumph TR-3 roadster and a Jaguar MK IX Saloon as well as our 'normal' cars.

School Story:

I was a horrible teenager....I graduated with a goatee (Mr. Miller hated it!). I dated a girl from Henrietta (we hated Henrietta!). I got many "noogies" from Mr. Gumina, Mr. Nicely threw me out of his class, Mr. Ludwig dragged me out of study hall and Mr. Shelly told my folks I should attend military school!
I went to the 20 year reunion in 1988 and was voted "most improved male" and was presented a hand mirror. I had only one way to go......
I still consider Pittsford my home town but was lucky to get out alive!

Our second grand child Cecelia Brown was born this year to Travis & Hannah Brown.
She joins Liam Brown who just turned 3, son of Tyler and Lucy Brown.

I met Guy Fieri at a dinneer at UNLV. He was the UNLV
class of 1980. Just as much fun in person than on TV!

Hi Betts! We had about 60 at the 50th reunion and I counted 77 are the Sat dinner to include spouses. We had a tour of PCS and I asked to see room 103 where Mr. Holzwarth called down some of us for skipping classes among other things. I was told that area was closed off for “special Ed” students. Very appropriate I thought. Be well John! Gary Brown’68
