It's so sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was always such a happy, personable classmate. The "Class of 69" will certainly miss him. God Bless Bob and his family.
Its hard to wrap one's mind around the loss of classmates. I had a great conversation with Bob at our last reunion. He was full of life then. I'll reminisce about some shared experiences we had during our years at PCS.
I first met Bob when we moved to Pittsford at the end of 7th grade year. We spent the next five years skiing, sailing and playing in a band. A trip to Aspen our freshman year of college, and lots of time at his family's cottage until graduating college. He was best man in my wedding. We lost touch after college, but the miracle of the internet brought us back together for monthly Zoom calls. I am so glad we were able to get together at the last reunion.
Bob really helped me navigate my years at Pittsford, and for that I'm thankful. I wish Lisa, Diane and all of the family comfort during this difficult time.
Bob was the epitome of a good person and good friend. Just as he did in our band, he kept a steady beat with all of his friends and was there as a positive presence, no matter the situation. I will carry fond memories of our friendship, one that strengthered throughout our school years and beyond to this day. He will be missed!
“I didn’t know Bob very well except through drama club, but he wrote one of the kindest and most insightful thoughts about me in my yearbook—something that, after 57 years, still pops into my head now and then.”
