It is always difficult to say good-bye to a great life long friend.  I was lucky enough to spend some great times with Paul "Oaf" and his wife Kay over the ten past few years, when they visited my wife and I in the Florida Keys.  These added to many memories of sharing multiple high school sports with Paul.  Paul was a great athelet and competitor, but was a fantastic husband, father and life long friend.  Paul got the name "Oaf" from one of our favorite high school coaches Joe Borrosh, named after a Finnish Pole Vaulter, his nick name stuck.  Great memories of camping and fishing with friends over memorial day on an island on the Redou River, in Canada.  Kay, our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of Paul's family.

Life certainly has its twists and turns and unfortunately death is a huge part of it. Paul was a great life long friend from grammar school on up. Laurie and I had many memorable trips with Paul and Kay and our other high school friends through the years. Paul was an outstanding athlete who held the pole vault record at Pittsford Sutherland for many years. Our days as fraternity brothers in high school are still vivid memories. Losing Ernie DiBella and now Paul is very sad, but we must remember all the good times and how fortunate we all were to know them. God Bless Paul, Kay and their families.
